Happy New Year
A round up of my year in photography. This year my highlight was the Farne Islands, walking amongst the Puffins and some high key images of the Arctic Terns. Also many trips to RSPB Bempton, seeing the Short Eared Owls, Gannets , Puffins and the thousands of sea birds.. not forgetting the Bempton celebrity Albert The black browed albatross.
What a year !!
So difficult to pick highlights from such a packed year of wildlife and animal photography. I associate with ‘ like a dog being let off the lead’ after the covid lockdown.
This year the notable places are
- Spade Oak Nature Reservoir ( home patch)
- The Farne Islands
- RSPB Bempton
- RSPB Otmoor
- WWT Slimbridge , Arundel & Barnes
- Brine Pit hides
- Mike Dunleavy ( Kingfisher hide)
- Scarborough ( Steve Race)
- Hawk Conservancy Trust
- Farmoor Reservoir
